Live Coverage. 

– After a video recap of NXT Roadblock (results here), Vic Joseph & Booker T welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning to the opening segment. 

– After nearly 15 months, Johnny Gargano made his triumphant NXT return to cut a promo ahead of his match against Grayson Waller on NXT: Stand & Deliver. Gargano asked the fan section behind him to watch his back to prevent Waller from attacking him again before saying that he came back to NXT to finish his story, saying a piece of him was missing after Waller took the moment away from Gargano’s last appearance. Gargano said that he gifted Waller wait time before reminding everyone that the last person that attacked him from behind was Tommaso Ciampa, who became NXT Champion after the attack while Waller lost his chances for the title twice and blamed everyone for it. Gargano said that NXT was his home, but was interrupted by Vic Joseph showing him a video of Grayson Waller was live streaming from Gargano’s house. This prompted Gargano to run out of the arena. 

– NXT North American Champion Wes Lee was confronted by Axiom in the NXT Parking lot, with Axiom saying that he would not lose sight of him to get his title match. Lee invited Axiom somewhere to eat, which Axiom accepted. 

NXT Tag Team Championship Match.

Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) (c) vs. Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince).

Prince & Coffey began the opening match locking up before Coffey caught Prince with a forearm strike. Coffey got Prince in a headlock before hitting a shoulder tackle & an arm-drag takeover on Prince. Prince kicked Coffey in the abdomen before slamming him to the corner with an Irish Whip, but Coffey hit a back elbow on Prince to send him out of the ring. Prince went for Coffey’s ankle before Wilson tagged in and hit a Sunset Flip into an Inside Cradle for a near fall. Wolfgang tagged in and hit a big veal on Wilson before going for a corner splash, but Wilson evaded before going for a slingshot DDT, but Wolfgang caught him and hit a face-slam. Wolfgang & Coffey hit a double Monkey Flip Wilson before hitting a Catapult into a backdrop on Prince to send both to the outside. 

During picture-in-picture, Wilson & Prince cornered Wolfgang, but Wolfgang attacked the two before Prince got a headlock into a knee-lift on Wolfgang. Wilson tagged in but was greeted with a hammerlock by Wolfgang before Wolfgang got a rope break. Coffey tagged in and hit a diving shoulder tackle on Wilson for a near fall. Coffey got a choke on Prince before going for a German, but Wilson reversed it with a Guillotine Choke. Coffey reversed that hold with a headlock, but Coffey got a Victory Roll on Wilson before Wilson launched Coffey onto Prince’s uppercut on the apron. Prince tagged in and stomped out Coffey in the corner before locking in a choke on Coffey. Wilson & Prince double-teamed Coffey in their corner, but Coffey tossed Prince before Wolfgang tagged in. Wolfgang hit shoulder tackles on Prince & Wilson, a dropkick on Prince, a corner splash on Prince a running boot on Wilson, a diving axe handle on Prince, and a back suplex into a running side-senton on Prince for a near fall. Coffey & Wolfgang hit a double-Uranage on Prince for a near fall. Prince & Wilson double-teamed Wolfgang outside before they tossed Wolfgang over the broadcast table. Prince distracted the referee, allowing Wilson to attack Coffey with the belts for a near fall. Wilson & Prince went for spilled milk, but Wolfgang lowered the ropes to send Prince flying before Coffey hit an uppercut on Wilson. This led to Coffey & Wolfgang hit a Running Knee Strike/ F5 Combination on Wilson for the pinfall win. 

Winners: Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) (AND STILL NXT Tag Team Champions).

– Fallon Henley & Josh Briggs were in disguise to stalk Kiana James’s room to find any evidence of cheating from James on Brooks Jensen. There was a notebook listing of procedures from James listing activities with “Sebastian”. They took a picture of Kiana James’s letter.

– There was a voiceover message from NXT Booker Shawn Michaels announcing that there would be qualifying matches to fill in the participants for the NXT Women’s Championship Ladder Match to determine a new NXT Women’s Champion. 

– There was a doctor discussing the state of Roxanne Perez, saying that he was unable to provide an update on when would be Perez’s recovery date. 

NXT Women’s Championship Qualifier Match.

Sol Ruca vs. Zoey Stark.

The two locked up before Ruca pushed Stark multiple times before flipping over Stark’s back and hitting a backdrop on Stark to send her to the outside. Ruca & Stark took turns slamming each into the corner before Ruca hit a slingshot Code Breaker and a lariat on Stark for a near fall. Ruca chased Stark to the outside, but Stark caught her with a Thrust kick on the outside. Stark & Ruca got back in the ring before Stark hit a series of stomps, a knee-drop, and a basement lariat on Ruca for a near fall. Stark got Ruca in a reverse Cravat before transitioning into a headlock on Ruca. Stark transitioned back into a Cravat on Ruca, but Ruca reversed it with an arm drag to break the hold. Ruca hit two shoulder tackles, a gut kick, an enziguri kick, a front-flip corner splash, and a running Powerslm on Stark for a near fall. Ruca clotheslined Stark to the outside before hitting an Asai Moonsault on Stark to the outside off the top rope. Back in the ring, Ruca went for a springboard move, but Stark caught her with the Belly-To-Back GTS mid-air for the pinfall win. 

Winner: Zoey Stark.

– There was a video vignette of Scrypts discussing the topic of masks, with a noticeable robot voice.

NXT Women’s Championship Tag Team Championship – #1 Contender’s Match.  

Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn vs. Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance.

Chance hit a double tijeras on Paxley & Danw to begin the match/ Chance tossed Dan out of the ring before hitting a sunset flip shotgun dropkick on Paxley for a near fall. Carter tagged in, but Paxley got a Vctory Roll on Carter for a near fall. Dawn came to the ring and slammed Carter into the corner with a spear before Fyre tagged in and hit a forearm strike on Paxley, but Carter hit a forearm strike of her own before hitting a dropkick/ splash combo on Fyre & Paxley. Nile tagged in as her & Paxley hit a double suplex on Fyre for a near fall. Chance went for a diving cross-body, but Nile caught her mid-air before Fyre hit a thrust kick on Nile. Dawn hit a Meteora on Nile, but Nile caught her with a Gamonguri. Nile tried to tag Paxley, but Paxley evaded the tag before kicking Nile in the abdomen. Paxley got Nile back in the ring before Dawn & Fyre hit a backstabber/ Swanton for the pinfall win. 

Winners: Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre. 

– Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo confronted NXT Champion Bron Breakker backstage. Breakker reference “The Godfather” & “The Sopranos” for no real reason (there is a reason, but we cannot specify for legal reasons) before politely declining their offer to join him during the contract signing. D’Angelo & Stacks then agreed to chase Tag Team gold. 

– Ilja Dragunov came to the ring to cut a promo. Dragunov said that the issues with JD McDonagh could have been avoidable, but he admitted that the only way he can move forward in NXT was by taking out McDonagh. McDonagh and said that he & Dragunov are not too different. Dragunov completely disagreed with McDonagh’s statements by saying that pain makes him feel alive, but McDonagh said that pain is the reason why he is without gold and said that he will not get tired to make Dragunov. Dragunov challenged McDonagh to a match next week, saying that there will be nothing more than body parts and fluids as a sign reads “Here lies The Irish Ace”. McDonagh accepted the challenge before the two exchanged strikes in the ring one more time. The two brawled on the outside before heading to the parking lot.

– Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) were interviewed backstage McKnezie Mitchell before suggesting that they should host NXT: Stand & Deliver. 

– Tyler Bate & Thea Hail were doing backstage before Andre Chase confronted Duke Hudson. Hudson said that he was worried about Chase University’s record, but Chase said that Chase U was all about spirit before saying that maybe Chase U did more him than anything in his entire life. Ava Raine then came from behind and left a mask over a Chase U cone.

– There was a video of Grayson Waller entering the parking lot of Johnny Gargano’s house.

– The NXT Roser bralwed don’t eh ramp before Axiom got to the ring, but SCRYPTS caught him with a kick. Dragunov & McDonagh brawled on the ring before Lee hit a Tope Con Giro on the pile. 

– Former ROH TV Champion Dragon Lee was interviewed backstage, saying that joining NXT was exciting and wanting to show that he wanted to show that he was special. 

– There was a video package detailing the feud between Apollo Crews & Dabba-Kato ahead of their match after the commercial break. 

– Jacy Jayne was interviewed backstage and talked trash about Gigi Dolin after revealing that she would be sidelined with a shoulder injury. Jayne promised Dolin that she would get her vengeance on Dolin for the injury.

Apollo Crews vs. Dabba-Kato.

Apollo Crews hit a diving axe handle on Kato to the outside before slamming him onto the barricade. Kato & Crews exchanged body shots before Crews slammed Kato onto the ring post. Kato placed Crews in the apron before hitting an overhead chop on Crews. The match officially began with Crews spearing Kato out of the ring. The two continued to brawl on the outside before Kato slammed Crews into the barricade. Crews attacked Kato on the outside before slamming Kato onto the stairs. Back in the ring, Crews stomped Kato, but Kato hit two body shots before hitting a boot kick on Crews.

During picture-in-picture, Kato leaned Crews’s neck onto the middle rope before placing him on the apron and hitting a Beat of the Battering on Crews. Kato tried to attack Crews with the stairs, but Crews kicked the stairs off Kato’s hand. The two got back in the ring before Kato went for a body slam, but Crews slipped over Kato before Kato caught him with a big boot into a backbreaker stretch on Crews. 

Back from the break, Kato held onto the stretch, but Crews broke the hold by kicking Kato’s head. Crews went for an Angle Slam, but Kato reversed it with an abdomen breaker on Crews as the crowd booed heavily at Dabba-Kato. Kato hit a vicious forearm strike on Crews’s back before swinging for a jab, but Crews evaded and hit a series of body shots & two jabs, but Kato responded with a knee-lift and a back lariat into a leg drop on Crews. Kato got Crews int eh corner and placed him on the top rope, but Crews caught him with an enziguri kick on the apron before slamming Kato’s neck onto the top rope. Crews hit three pump kicks, a corner splash, and hit the Angle Slam on Kato before climbing to the top rope and hitting a 5-Star Splash on Kato for a near fall. Kato got on the apron before hitting an upkick on Crews to send him to the outside. Kato caught Crews outside and hit a double-hand chokeslam on Crews onto the exposed stairs. Kato got back in the ring to tried to get the count-out win, but Crews broke the count by sliding back on the ring. Kato responded to this by hitting a sit-down Chokebomb on Crews for the pinfall win. 

Winner: Dabba-Kato.

– Backstage, Wes Lee & Shawn Michaels spoke backstage before Michaels made a Fatal-Five Way for the North American Championship on NXT Stand & Deliver. 

– Kiana James was trying to call Fallon Henley before Brooks Jensen told her that he wanted to join her, but James said that she would go there on her own. 

NXT Women’s Championship Qualifier Match.

Kiana James vs. Gigi Dolin.

James & Dolin began the match locking up before James got a wrist lock on Dolin, but Dolin rolled over and got the Magistral on James for a near fall. Dolin hit a snap-mare on James and went for. aPK kick, but James reversed it with a pin for a near fall. Dolin got back up and hit a snap-mare into a PK Kick on James for. a near fall. James got back up and hit a backflip into a corner spear on Dolin before hitting a neck-breaker on Dolin for a near fall. James got a headlock on Dolin, but Dolin got a rope break. Dolin hit two pump kicks, a roundhouse kick & an STO on James for a near fall. James got the O’Connor Roll for a near fall, but Dolin got back up and hit the Abdominal Stretch/ Crucifix Bomb on James for the pinfall win.

Winner: Gigi Dolin.

– Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn attacked Kiana James from behind before Brooks Jensen came in to make the save. 

– Johnny Gargano got to his house but was greeted by Grayson Waller. the two brawled on the backyard. Gargano threw a trash can at Waller before he laid in the punches on Waller. Waller hit a low blow on Gargano, but Gargano slammed Waller into the wall before Waller attacked Gargano with a broom. Waller then hit the Candice LeRae’s signature Curb Stomp on Gargano right in front of Gargano’s wife, Candice LeRae, before walking away. 

– Fallon Henley & Josh Briggs got backstage with Kiana James & Brooks Jensen & Kiana James, with James running down on Henley for not being with her during her match while Brooks Jensen ran down on Josh Briggs for watching the movie “Cocaine Bear” without him. 

– Carmelo Hayes (w/ Trick Williams) & NXT Champion Bron Breakker go to the ring to sign the contract for their match in NXT: Stand & Deliver, which was moderated by the hosts of NXT: Stand & Deliver Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince). Breakker & Hayes put each other over for their success in the recent iteration of NXT, with Hayes saying that he was going to become the champion. Breakker said that he wanted the Hayes that beat Ricochet, while Hayes said that he wanted to see the Unstoppable version on Breakker because it would make it much sweeter when he takes the title because he is HIM. Breakker agreed that he was him, but told Hayes that he needed to show that it means something because they will get what everyone wants, with Prince saying they were the Ying to each other’s Yang. Hayes put over the fact that it was the youngest WrestleMania weekend Main Event in history but told Breakker that he was ready and wanted to know if he was ready too. Hayes & Breakker signed the contract to make the match official, as the two said that they would make be giving an inch. The two shook hands & adhered to the code of Honor, which bamboozled Pretty Deadly because they wanted drama. Breakker & Hayes then proceeded to slam Pretty Deadly onto the broadcast table as the two exchanged words to end the broadcast.
