Sami Zayn Turns On Roman Reigns, Bloodline Destroys Sami And Kevin Owens At WWE Royal Rumble
Sami Zayn has made his choice.
Roman Reigns successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in the main event at WWE Royal Rumble, finishing him off with a spear inside the ring after tossing Owens back of the head first into the steps on the outside.
The bigger story was after the match, when Sami Zayn had his final test.
Reigns was joined by The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) and Solo Sikoa during the celebration, and as Jey went to place the lei around Sami, Reigns stopped him, feeling the job wasn’t finished. The Usos and Solo attacked Owens with the Usos hitting 1D and Solo hitting a running hip thrust while a Owens had a chair around his neck.
Owens was then handcuffed to the ropes, giving the Usos free reign to superkick him at will. Reigns was positioned to hit Owens with a chair, but Sami stepped in front, saying it was beneath Roman.
Roman handed Sami the chair, wanting him to pull the trigger. Sami hesitated, and Roman got in his face. Roman would turn his back to Sami, who then turned his back on the Bloodline by striking Roman with the chair.
Sami was attacked by Jimmy and Solo, but Jey did not join in, deciding to exit the ring and head up the ramp. Reigns would assert his dominance in the end, wailing on Zayn with the chair before ripping off his Honorary Uce shirt.
In the end, Sami and Owens were left laid out in the middle of the ring as the crowd chanted “Fuck You Roman.”

Zayn was put on trial by the Bloodline (Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, & Paul Heyman) on Monday’s WWE Raw. After Heyman presented footage against Sami, and Jey Uso presented footage defending Sami, the Honorary Uce was declared “Not Guilty” by Reigns for the time being. Reigns stated that Sami’s final test would happen at WWE Royal Rumble.
