Jacob Fatu Wins MLW Battle Riot IV; Killer Kross, Real 1, & Sami Callihan Round Out Final Four
Jacob Fatu is the winner of Battle Riot IV.
Major League Wrestling made their debut on Pro Wrestling TV on November 3, as they aired the fourth ever Battle Riot match in its entirety. After over 40 different wrestlers entered the match, the final four consisted of Jacob Fatu, Killer Kross (who is now back in WWE as Karrion Kross, Real 1 (a.k.a nZo), and IMPACT’s Sami Callihan.
Callihan was eliminated first, as he was kicked off the apron by Jacob Fatu while he was in the midst of attempting to do a pile driver on Real 1.
Next, Kross was eliminated by Fatu after focusing too hard on Real 1.
When Fatu tried to charge Real 1 in the corner, the referee was caught in the middle of it, effectively taking him out of the match for the time being. Fatu then threw Real 1 out of the ring, but the referee didn’t see it, so it wasn’t an official elimination. When Fatu was celebrating, Real 1 came back in the ring and took him out of the ring. Real 1 went to raise the referee off the ground, but his back was still turned to where Fatu was tossed out of the ring. This allowed for Fatu to sneak behind Real 1 and throw him out of the match to score the victory.
