Tonight, AEW returns to his normal night of Wednesday after a brief detour last Tuesday. Jon Moxley will once again defend his World Title, MJF will speak, two matches will take place between the Chris Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club, and more.

Jon Moxley Defends His Title Against Penta El Zero Miedo

Jon Moxley and Penta El Zero Miedo will meet for the World Championship as Jon Moxley continues to prove that he is the hardest-fighting AEW World Champion of all time with another title defense just eight days after he defended against Hangman Page. Penta, a former IMPACT World Champion, is looking to get his hands on Singles gold for the first time in years. no matter who wins, MJF is waiting in the wings.

Riho vs. Jamie Hayter

Last week, Riho returned to AEW to save Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida. Tonight, she goes one-on-one with Jamie Hayter. With both women needing a win, tonight could be a pivotal moment for the future of the women’s division.

FTR Look To Solidify Their Status As #1 Challengers

For the past several months, FTR’s Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler have been the number-one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. For whatever reason, they have never been granted their championship match. Tonight, they will face former champions Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland, Swerve in our Glory for the right to maintain their top challenger status. Since losing the titles, Swerve in our Glory has shown glimpses of their previous dissension. Tonight, in this first-time-ever match, one team will earn the next title opportunity.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman Speaks

After getting very personal last week with William Regal and revealing his intentions to challenge for the World Championship at AEW Full Gear, Maxwell Jacob Friedman once again take to the microphone on tonight’s episode of dynamite and one thing is for sure, when MJF speaks, people listen.

Blackpool Combat Club vs. Jericho Appreciation Society Continues

The fight between the Blackpool Combat Club and the Jericho Appreciation Society will continue tonight in two separate matches.

First, Chris Jericho will team with Daniel Garcia against Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli. Then, Bryan Danielson will go one-on-one with Sammy Guevara. For the majority of this year, These two factions have continued to fight each other every chance they get, with Chris Jericho completely focused on the Ring of Jericho, Bryan Danielson’s disdain for Sammy Guevara’s focus on social media, and Wheeler having a point to prove against Daniel Garcia, this week’s confrontations between the two groups look to be very intense.
