Wardlow: I’m Evolving, Things Are Changing; I’m Ready To Display A More Intense Version
After making quick work of Tony Nese on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Wardlow cut an impassioned promo where he answered critics who said momentum might be slowing for the AEW TNT Champion.
Wardlow was featured at AEW All Out, but didn’t defend his title at the pay-per-view, instead teaming with FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) to defeat Jay Lethal & Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin).
Speaking to Daily Gazette, Wardlow discussed his post-match promo.
“Absolutely,” Wardlow said if the promo was a statement of purpose moving forward. “There’s some changes. I’m just entering a new era in my life. I’m evolving, things are changing. I’ve just become a hungrier, more intense version of myself, and I’m ready to display that and I’m ready to let the rest of the world feel that.”
Wardlow is not currently scheduled to compete on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
While not appearing on AEW television, Wardlow walked the runway for David Alan Clothing. You can learn more by clicking here.
