– The broadcast began with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee welcoming the before transitioning to the opening match.
Irish Donnybrook Match, Winner Becomes #1 Contender for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus.
Sheamus attacked McIntyre from behind, slamming McIntyre’s face into the ring post. Sheamus laid in the punches on McIntyre in the corner before slamming him into the corner with an Irish Whip, but McIntyre responded with a lariat. McIntyre hit a Michinoku Driver on Sheamus for a near fall. They brawled out of the ring before Sheamus got back in the ring with a shillelagh. McIntyre hit a back suplex on Sheamus. Sheamus kicked McIntyre, who briefly got possession of the shillelagh before the two clotheslined each other to the outside. McIntyre tossed Sheamus over the broadcast table. McIntyre got a table from under the ring, but Sheamus attacked him from behind before slamming McIntyre into the ring stairs. Back in the ring, Sheamus got a shillelagh before hitting McIntyre with it. Sheamus gauged McIntyre in the eye with his Irish Stick. Sheamus hit the 10 Beats Of The Bell with the shillelagh. Outside of the ring, Sheamus tried to suplex McIntyre into the table, but McIntyre reversed it with a suplex of his own on the outside. McIntyre slammed Sheamus into the barricade, the apron, the ring post, the stairs, and, finally, into the beer barrels standing on the side before the commercial break. Back from the break, Sheamus had the shillelagh in McIntyre’s mouth, but McIntyre hit a chop to break the hold. Sheamus hit McIntyre with a body slam. Sheamus got a steel chair and hit McIntyre in the back. Sheamus hit the chair in between the top and bottom turnbuckle, but the chair fell out of the ring form out of nowhere. McIntyre slammed Sheamus in the ring post that was supposed to have the chair. McIntyre hit two lariats, two belly-to-belly throws, and a neck-breaker on Sheamus before doing a kip-up. McIntyre went to the outside and threw six chairs into the ring, but Sheamus yeeted one of them into McIntyre’s face when he was coming back to the ring. Sheamus went for the White Noise into the Six Chairs, but McIntyre reversed it with a Future Shock DDT on Sheamus into the chairs for a near fall. Of all people, Ridge Holland hit McIntyre with a shillelagh to the back, which Sheamus took advantage of by hitting a Brogue Kick for a near fall. Outside of the ring, McIntyre tossed Holland into a table placed in the barricade. Holland was laid out of the match before the commercial break. Back from the break, Sheamus and McIntyre were brawling in the top turnbuckle before McIntyre hit a hanging overhead suplex. Sheamus hit an Alabama Slam on McIntyre for a near fall. McIntyre slammed Sheamus into a mini-bar. Butch hit a cross body from the Beer Barrels on McIntyre before Sheamus hit McIntyre with a Barstool Chair. Sheamus climbed to the middle turnbuckle before hitting a super-White Noise for a near fall. Butch got a huge shillelagh, but McIntyre took it away and hit both Butch and Sheamus. McIntyre hit a Claymore on Butch, but Sheamus (who was bleeding heavily from the shoulder) hit a Brogue kick on McIntyre for a near fall. Sheamus set up for a third Brogue Kick, but McIntyre hit him with a pop-up powerbomb on Sheamus through a table inside the ring. McIntyre implored Sheamus to stop trying, but Sheamus got a small shillelagh. With an emotional expression on his face, McIntyre hit a low-height Claymore on Sheamus for the pinfall win. With this victory, McIntyre will challenge the winner of the Last Man Standing Match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Champion on Clash at the Castle.
Winner: Drew McIntyre.
– Kayla Braxton interviewed McIntyre after the match, with McIntyre saying that someone has to take the title off part-time champions. Theory attacked McIntyre from behind, hitting him with the briefcase.
– Happy Corbin joined ringside to watch the show from the crowd area. Corbin had a sign with a mugshot of Pat McAfee. Corbin continued to bother Michael Cole and Pat McAfee at the broadcast table, with Corbin throwing popcorn onto McAfee. The two argued before Corbin threw the popcorn on McAfee’s face. Adam Pearce, Jamie Noble, Shawn Daivari separated them briefly before Corbin kicked McAfee right in the colts before the commercial break.
– Kayla Braxton interviewed Theory backstage, with Theory saying that he attacked Drew McIntyre because he was tired of being treated like a punching bag. Theory said that nobody would stop him from becoming WWE Undisputed Champion. Paul Heyman confronted Theory before cutting back to the broadcast team.
Shotzi vs. Aliyah.
Cole explained that Shotzi replaced Lacey Evans because Evans was not medically cleared. Shotzi and Aliyah exchanged holds before Aliyah got Shotzi in a headlock before hitting a Thesz Press on Shotzi. Shotzi slammed Aliyah into the mat before stomping down Aliyah in the corner. Shotzi hit a side-senton on Aliyah into the rope for a near fall. Shotzi got Aliyah in a Boston Crab before Aliyah got the rope break, but Shotzi pulled her out of the rope. Aliyah kicked Shotzi to break the hold. Aliyah threw three elbow strikes, a spinning kick and a diving lariat for a near fall. Aliyah hit a Thesz Press from the apron into the outside. Shotzi slammed Aliyah into the ring post. Back in the ring, Shotzi hit the Never Wake Up DDT for the pinfall win.
Winner: Shotzi.
– There was a digital exclusive that showed Sonya Deville being put in an arm drag by Rousey. During a photoshoot backstage, Natalya and Deville interrupted Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey. Morgan argued with Natalya and Deville backstage.
– Rousey got in the ring with Shotzi before hitting her with a Piper’s Pit. Rousey called out Morgan to come to the ring to show why Deville and Natalya were in the title match and not them. She also told a fan in the crowd “Shut up, your mom failed you!”.
Ronda Rousey & Liv Morgan vs. Sonya Deville & Natalya
Rousey and Natalya began the match, with Rousey taking Natalya down with a wrist-lock takedown. Natalya and Rousey exchanged wrist locks before Rousey turned it into a lateral press for a near fall. Rousey tossed Morgan into Natalya to hit the Tijeras. Deville punched Morgan in the mouth before throwing kicks at Morgan. Morgan hit a shotgun dropkick on Deville. Morgan hit an elevated knee on Deville before Rousey tagged back in. Morgan tagged back in, but Deville slammed Morgan into the barricade. Natalya tagged in and hit a suplex Morgan. Natalya got Morgan in a rear naked choke before tossing her out of the ring. Natalya hit a suplex on Moran on the ringside floor before the commercial break. Deville slammed Morgan’s head into the top turnbuckle before hitting her with a running knee for a near fall. Natalya and Deville hit a double suplex on Morgan. Natalya got Morgan in a headlock. Natalya stomped down Morgan’s abdomen, but Morgan rolled out of the hold. Morgan hit a codebreaker on Natalya before teasing Rousey with the tag for a near fall. Natalya smacked Morgan in the mouth. Deville hit Morgan with a snap-mare rear naked choke. Morgan hit elbow strikes on Deville’s abdomen before hitting a step-up enziguri. Morgan did not make the tagand got Natalya in a victory roll for a near fall. Natalya hit a lariat on Morgan for a near fall. Morgan slammed Natalya in the corner bfore Rousey tagged in. Rousey hit a high knee strike and a piper’s pit. Natalya attacked Rousey from behind, but Morgan hit Natalya with the Oblivion. Rousey locked in the ankle lock on Deville to make her submit, with Rousey getting the submission victory.
Winners: Ronda Rousey & Liv Morgan.
– Jeff Jarrett hosted a Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins), The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) and Jeff Jarrett joined the ring, with Jarrett saying he had words for the two teams. Jarrett wanted to show how seriously he took the job as the guest referee. The Usos and Street Profits ran down a series of scenarios to see if it would be a disqualification, with Jarrett being flabbergastered. Jarrett said that he was here to let them run wild, as his only job is to count the 1-2-3. Jarrett said that if someone of the four felt froggy, to go ahead and jump. Street Profits and The Usos brawled before Jey Uso hit a nasty super kick on the former GCW Wrestler’s whole mouth. The Usos tried to get Jarrett back up, but Jarrett pushed both of them out of the way. Ford hit a Tope Con Giro on The Usos.
– Maxxine Dupri hosted the Summerslam Beachwear Collection, with Mace and Maxxine Dupri. Max Dupri actually joined Maxxine Dupri, revealing that they were still looking for recruits for Maximum Male Models.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik).
Woods and Erik locked up, with Woods hitting a chop on Erik. Woods got a sunset flip o Erik for a near fall before Erik blasted a lariat on Woods. Kingston hit a cross body on Erik for a near fall. Kingston hit a double-spring rope leg drop on Erik before Erik hit a lariat on Kingston. Erik and Ivar launched strikes on Kingston. Ivar dumped Kingston over the top rope before hitting a cross body on Kingston into the barricade. Ivar had Kingston in a chin-lock nerve hold, but Kingston broke the hold before being dropped with two lariats. Kingston hit an SOS on Ivar before Erik and Woods tagged back in. Woods hit a rolling elbow, Tijeras/Russian Leg Sweep on Erik before hitting a dropkick on Ivar. Woods hit the UpUp Down Down on Ivar before hitting a slingshot DDT on Erik for a near fall. Woods hit a facebuster before Kingston hit a back-splash on Erik for a near fall. All broke loose before Erik hit a knee strike on Kingston. Erik and Ivar hit the double powerbomb for the pinfall win.
Winners: The Viking Raiders.
After the match, The VikingRaiders hit Woods with their shields. Erik and Ivar placed a chair on Woods’ leg before slamming their shields into the chair, which pillmanized his leg.
– Paul Heyman came to the ring to cut the Special Council Address ahead of the Last Man Standing match between Brock Lesnar and WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns. Heyman put over that Reigns was the first wrestler in 35 years to have a 700-day reign in WWE, emphasizing that Reigns would stand over a extremely damaged Lesnar in the main event. Brock Lesnar came to the ring to interrupt Heyman. Theory attacked Lesnar from behind, but Lesnar slammed the MITB Briefcase on Theory’s back before hitting him with two German Suplexes. Theory was dizzy before Drew McIntyre struck down. McIntyre & Lesnar stared each other down to end the show.
