Live Coverage.

– Excalibur, Jim Ross & Chris Jericho welcomed the audience to the broadcast, quickly transitioning to the opening match.

Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Trent Berretta & Chuck Taylor) vs. Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal.

Lethal and Berretta exchanged pins and holds before getting to a stalemate. Orange Cassidy, with glasses and all, tagged in and called out Satnam Singh. Instead, former X-Division Sonjay Dutt tagged into the match. Dutt took off his suit and gave it to Mike Knox, while Cassidy gave him his shade. Disgusted, Dutt tagged in Singh. Cassidy hit a shotgun dropkick on Cassidy, but Singh slammed Cassidy in the corner before hitting an overhead chop on Cassidy. Singh hit a double crossbody on Taylor & Berretta. Lethal stomped down Cassidy before Dutt hit Cassidy with a snap mare stomp sequence. Lethal tossed Cassidy into the turnbuckle before hitting him with a chop. Cassidy and Lethal exchanged waist locks before tagging in Taylor. Taylor hit three punches, a belly-to-belly suplex, and tagged in Berretta to hit the Soul Food on lethal. Taylor and Berretta dropped Singh off the apron. The two embraced before Lethal hit a double Lethal injection on Taylor and Berretta. Cassidy hit a cross body and a tornado DDT on Lethal. Dutt tried to stab Cassidy with the pencil, but Cassidy broke the pencil before hitting the Orange Punch for the pinfall win. 

Winners: Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Trent Berretta).

– Dutt, Lethal, and Singh attacked Berretta and Cassidy after the match before TNT Champion Wardlow came to the ring to make the save. Singh confronted Wardlow, but Dutt pushed Singh out, with the two leaving the ring. 

– There was a video highlight of The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) vs ROH Tag Team Champions FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Hardwood) from Death Before Dishonor. Full results for the show here.

Ethan Page vs. Leon Ruffin.

The match began with Page lauching Ruffin into the corner before hitting shoudler strikes. Page launched Ruffin into the corner head first. Ruffin tried to evade his offense, but Page tossed Ruffin into the mat. Page hit an Ego’s Page for the pinfall win. Stokely Hathaway watched the match backstage. 

Winner: Ethan Page.

– Cole Karter was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair, but was interrupted by QT Marshall. Marshall offered Karter a spot in the Factory. Karter told him to sleep on it, just not with the fishes. 

Lee Moriarty vs. Matt Sydal.

The two shook hands before Moriarty headbutted Sydal, landing a series of forearm strikes on Sydal. Moriarty hit an arm breaker on Sydal, but Sydal hit a knee strike on Moriarty’s head and a lateral press for a near fall. Sydal went for a standing moonsault, but Moriarty evaded. Sydal hit a spinning kick on Moriarty before hitting a standing corkscrew for a near fall. Sydal hit a Tope Suicida and a running Meteora on Moriarty. Moriarty tossed Sydal into the barricade. Moriarty hit an uppercut before slamming Sydal into another barricade. Moriarty hit a helluva kick on Sydal into the barricade. Back in the ring, Moriarty laid in the forearm strikes on Sydal’s neck. Moriarty grounded his foot on Sydal’s face. Moriarty went for a running boot, but Sydal reversed it with a kick. Moriarty hit the Pepsi Plunge on Sydal. Moriarty hit multiple knee strikes on Sydal, but Sydal responded with a question mark kick and the Spyral neck breaker for a near fall. Sydal went to the top turnbuckle when Stokely Hathaway joined ringside. Sydal pushed Moriarty off the top rope, but Moriarty faked being injured long enough for Hathaway to distract Sydal. Moriarity hit a flatliner on Sydal for a near fall before locking in the Border City Stretch. Sydal had nowhere to go and tapped out, giving Moriarty the submission victory. After the match, Stokely Hathaway gave a business card to Moriarty. 

Winner: Lee Moriarty

– Dr. Britt Baker DMD cut a promo backstage, calling AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa a carny. Baker warned Toni Storm to thread lightly with Storm. 

– Tony Schiavone interviewed ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli & William Regal. Castagnoli thanked the fans for the support after defeating Jonathan Gresham on Death before Dishonor. ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta out to the ring, but Chris Jericho interrupted. Jericho was about to continue his sports entertainer ramble before Yuta shouted at him to shut up. Yuta said that his confidence was sky high, saying that he can beat Chris Jericho. Jericho said that he would never beat him. He asked Castagnoli, Regal, and the crowd if he can beat Jericho, to which they all agreed. Jericho challenged Yuta, but Yuta declined enough times to Jericho to change the offer: If Yuta wins, he would challenge Moxley for the AEW World Championship on Quake on The Lake. It was all a plan from Yuta, to which Yuta accepted the challenge. They will wrestle each other on the 8/3/2022 edition of Dynamite.

– The Acclaimed did a music video for the song “Taking Out The Trash”, a diss track to The Gunn Clubb (Austin Gunn, Billy Gunn, and Colten Gunn). The Acclaimed challenged The Gunn Clubb in a dumpster match. 

– Anna Jay and Ruby Soho were interviewed backstage by Mark Henry, with Soho saying that Jay was one of those entitled little shits who deserve everything. Jay said that she learned the dark side from Brodie Lee and Jericho, saying that she would choke out Ruby Soho.

Jay and Soho locked up, with Soho getting a headlock on Jay before hitting her with a shoulder tackle. Soho went for the No Future kick, but went instead for a lateral press for a near fall. Soho hit a knee strike on Jay for a near fall. Soho hanged on the top turnbuckle upside down, but Jay hit her with a super kick. Jay hit a rolling kick on Soho. Jay stomped down Soho in the corner. Soho went for a sunset flip on Jay, but Jay sat down for a near fall. Soho kicked Jay in the abdomen, but Jay hit a forearm strike on Soho’s head. Jay slammed Soho’s injured right arm into the mar before hitting her with a forearm strike and a running elbow strike for a near fall. Jay got Soho in an arm lock, but Soho broke the hold. Jay got Soho in a flat liner before locking in a Fujiwara Arm Bar, taking off the brace from Soho’s right arm. Jay hit a super kick on Soho, but Soho responded with a Saito Suplex. Soho hit a series of headbutts before hitting a knee strike on Jay’s midsection, a super kick, and a leg-sweep STO for a near fall. Soho went for Destination Unknown, but instead hit a Gory Special for a near fall. Jay got Soho in the Queen Slayer, but Soho reversed it with a pin for a near fall. Soho hit the No Future Kick on Jay for a near fall. Jay distracted the referee before getting Soho with an arm-brace assisted Queen Slayer for the submission win. Jericho applauded Jay on the ramp to end the broadcast.

Winner: Anna Jay.
