USADA Honoring Fighters Who Pass 25 Straight Drug Tests
The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has been testing UFC fighters for a few years now, but usually the organization just punishes the fighters who fail tests and do nothing for those who pass.
That has all changed now because the drug testing agency has now decided to reward UFC competitors who pass 25 straight drug tests.
A total of 19 fighters have already reached the milestone according to MMA Fighting as of the beginning of May, with those athletes being Holly Holm (35), Cris Cyborg (33), Eddie Alvarez (32), Vitor Belfort (32), Daniel Cormier (30), Rafael Dos Anjos (30), Stipe Miocic (28), Robbie Lawler (27), T.J. Dillashaw (27), Conor McGregor (27), Edson Barboza (27), Dominick Cruz (27), Fabricio Werdum (27), Frankie Edgar (27), Tecia Torres (26), Stephen Thomson (25), Tyron Woodley (25), Dustin Poirier (25) and Johny Hendricks (25).
Those who have reached that milestone will receive a mention on the new UFC USADA Twitter account, a free #followmylead t-shirt and some fighters USADA related stories will get share don the new Twitter account.
Also, a few UFC fighters in heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, former lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos and Tecia Torres will star in video testimonies about the drug testing program.
