UFC veterans, Dan Hardy and Diego Sanchez are set to square off in a boxing match this summer.
The promotion Europa Combat officially announced that Hardy and Sanchez will compete in an eight, two-minute rounds exhibition boxing bout on July 2 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. Former two-division world champion, Ricky Hatton, will take on former three-division world champ, Marco Antonio Barrera in the event’s headlining bout.

Hardy hasn’t competed since September 2012 where he defeated Amir Sadollah via a unanimous decision at UFC on Fuel TV 5. Sanchez meanwhile is 3-3 in his last six MMA bouts, most recently dropping a unanimous decision loss to former UFC title challenger, Kevin Lee, in his promotional debut with Eagle FC last month.
