UFC Singapore Winners Speak Out: Ray Borg Called Out, RDA, Covington Company Men, More
Several UFC winners spoke to the media after Saturday morning's UFC Singapore show, and revealed their plans for the future. You can check out comments from several of the fighters below.
Walt Harris says he's a company man:
"I’m down to fight anybody. I’m not going to call any names right now, because I honestly can’t remember anybody offhand. But anybody, man. I pride myself on being a company man. Whenever they call, I’m coming. I’m going to heal up and come back and I’m going to be 110 percent ready.”
Ulka Sasaki calls out Ray Borg after beating Justin Scoggins:
"(Justin Scoggins) has defeated Ray Borg. So I would like to fight Ray Borg.”
Colby Covington beating #7 Dong Hyun Kim:
"I’m dominating these guys. I just dominated the No. 7 guy in the world. No one has dominated him like that. This is officially the embarrassment tour. I embarrassed him in Asia tonight and I’m going to keep embarrassing the division. It doesn’t matter how I beat them, the way I’m beating them. This is easy money.”
Who Rafael dos Anjos wants to fight:
"I want to fight again before the end of this year. There’s many guys. We have (Donald) Cerrone and Robbie Lawler. Tyron Woodley is fighting Demian Maia for the title. I don’t have anyone in mind, but I want to fight higher-ranked guys, and somebody who leads me to take a step up in the division. I don’t want to go backward.”
Russell Doane breaking his losing streak:
"You lose because that’s part of the game. What are you going to do? Are you going to quit? Are you going to stop? Champions don’t quit. Champions don’t stop. We keep going no matter what.”
Lucie Pudilova changed her strategy:
"It’s great to be here and to win. I wanted to show all fans, that I could fight– not only in striking– I wanted to show that I could beat her on the ground. I fully changed my strategy (from beating Lina Lansberg) because I knew she prepared mostly for striking. I wanted to finish it on the ground.”
