UFC On Fox 28 Ratings Are In

This past weekend saw just one big time MMA event in the form of UFC On Fox 28, which was headlined by a pair of featherweights in Josh Emmett and Jeremy Stephens.

The ratings are now in for the event and it drew an average of 2,037,000 viewers, going up against the Winter Olympics and NBA Basketball. Fox Sports Go and Fox Now streamed the main card online and that brought in an additional 11,067 viewers.

It was the aforementioned main event fight between Emmett and Stephens that brought in the most viewers, with 2,731,000 people checking out the featherweight division encounter.

Other bouts on the main card saw Jessica Andrade defeat Tecia Torres, Ilir Latifi defeat Ovince St. Preux and Max Griffin defeat Mike Perry.

A four fight preliminary card also aired live on Fox with Brian Kelleher and former UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao in the featured spot, drawing a total of 1,216,000 for the prelims. The four fight prelims were also streamed online via Fox Now and Fox Sports Go, bringing in another 11,814 viewers.

Up next four the UFC is UFC 222, with four preliminary card fights airing live on Fox Sports 1, with Mackenzie Dern and Ashley Yoder taking the featured spot. Bellator MMA returns on Friday Night with Bellator 195, as Darrion Caldwell defends the bantamweight strap against Leandro Higo in the main event.
