UFC Fighter Justine Kish To Undergo Fourth Knee Surgery

Justine Kish hasn’t been seen inside of the Octagon since UFC On Fox 27 this past January, where she suffered a split decision loss to Ji Yeon Kim.

It is going to be quite awhile before fans see Kish back in action because she is undergoing a knee surgery in the near future, which is going to be the fighters fourth major knee surgery.

Kish announced the news herself via Instagram:

To bring everyone up to speed: It was during my last fight (UFC Charlotte), I sustained yet another (my 4th) substantial knee injury. Despite my best efforts and some the use of prorgressve healing therapies, it seems that my knee will require another rebuild. In other words…my ACL, MCL, & PCL faces another revision –. While I am physically damaged and emotionally dented, my spirit and resolve are stronger than ever! The UFC has been wonderful throughout the course of my tribulations and I could not be more thankful. My surgery will be this Friday in Los Ángeles and my relentless pursuit of rehab immediately thereafter at UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas! Thank you all for your unconditional support —- #OrthoCarolina #HughesandAssociates #SpencerPettusMachineCo #OverWatchVentureGroup #SinbiMuayThai #UFC #MuayThai #WMMA #ufcpi

A soon to be under the knife Kish holds a 2-2-0 record in the UFC (6-2-0 overall), with those wins coming over the duo of Nina Ansaroff and Ashley Yoder.

There is no word yet as to when Kish is going to be back in action, but more should be known once the surgery commences.
