UFC Fight Night San Antonio Live Gate, Attendance & Bonuses
UFC Fight Night San Antonio took place last night and in the main event, it was Leon Edwards scoring a unanimous decision win over former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos.
The event was a historic one as the show featured the most consecutive bouts to end via decision, with the first nine fights of the event going the distance.
A total of 9,255 fans checked out the history making show and that brought in a total gate of $841,820.61 according to MMA Junkie.
Four bonuses were also handed out for those competing on the card, as Walt Harris and Dan Hooker picked up $50,000 each for Performances Of The Night according to MMA Junkie. Mario Bautista and Jin Soo Son, who competed on the second bout of the card, would pick up $50,000 each for Fight Of The Night. A total of $200,000 were handed out for those bonuses, which is the norm for all UFC events.
Up next for the UFC is UFC 240, which is being headlined by a UFC Featherweight Title defense as Max Holloway puts the gold on the line against former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar, while Cyborg and Felicia Spencer battle in the co-main event.
