UFC Fight Night Hamburg TV Ratings Are In

This past weekend, MMA fans were treated to a rare Sunday show in the form of UFC Fight Night Hamburg, which featured a total of ten fights on Fox Sports 1.

The six fight main card, which was headlined by Anthony Smith defeating former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio Rua by first round knockout, brought in a total of 492,000 viewers according to MMA Fighting. Other fights on the main card saw Corey Anderson defeat Glover Teixeira, Abu Azaiotar defeat Vitor Miranda, Marcin Tybura defeat Stefan Struve, Nasrat Haqparast defeat Marc Diakiese and Danny Roberts defeat David Zawada,

It was the heavyweight division bout between Struve and Tybura that brought in the most viewers, with 546,000 people checking out that encounter. The main card also streamed live on Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, bringing in an additional 9,150 viewers.

There was also a four fight preliminary card that aired live on Fox Sports 1, with Damir Hadzovic defeating Nick Hein in the featured spot, which brought in a total of 271,000 viewers. Other bouts on that portion of the preliminary card saw Bartosz Fabinski defeat Emil Meek, Nad Narimani defeat Khalid Taha and Aleksandar Rakic defeat Justin Ledet.

A pre-fight show aired on Fox Sports 1 and that brought in 68,000 viewers, while a post-fight show on the same channel brought in 156,000 viewers. The whole event also aired via replay on Fox Sports 1 in the primetime slot, with the preliminary card bringing in 200,000 viewers, while the main card replay brought in 323,000 viewers.

Up next for the UFC is UFC On Fox 30 this Saturday Night, with former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez facing Dustin Poirier in the main event.
