UFC Fight Night Busan Attendance & Bonuses
MMA fans who live in North America were treated to an early morning UFC card in UFC Fight Night Busan, which was headlined by Chan Sung Jung scoring a first round TKO win over former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar.
A large sum of people attended the UFC Fight Night Busan card, as 10,651 fans checked out the promotion’s yearly trip to South Korea. No live gate was revealed by the promotion at this time, which is typical for the majority of UFC events held overseas.
Bonuses were also handed out for the event, with the aforementioned Jung, Alexandre Pantoja, Doo Ho Choi and Charles Jourdain picking up some extra cash. Jung and Pantoja scored $50,000 each for Performances Of The Night, while Jourdain and Choi picked up $50,000 each for Fight Of The Night. A total of $200,000 were handed out in bonus money, which is the norm for the majority of UFC events.
Up next for the UFC is UFC 246 on January 18, which is going to be headlined by former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor facing Donald Cerrone.
