Stipe Miocic (C) vs. Francis Ngannou (No. 1)
Round One: The main event of the evening to determine the baddest man on the planet and the UFC heavyweight champion is officially underway. Ngannou opens the action with a heavy kick to Miocic’s lead leg that lands. Ngannou lands a jab to the body and Miocic lands a kick to Ngannou’s lead leg. Ngannou drills Miocic with an overhand right but Miocic appears to have taken it well. Miocic shoots for a takedown but Ngannou stuffs the attempt, dumps Miocic onto the mat and pours on the ground and pound. Back on the feet, Ngannou lands a head kick that stuns Miocic but the buzzer sounds and the opening frame comes to a close.
Round Two: The second round opens and Ngannou continues the forward pressure. Ngannou lands an straight left that sends Miocic to the canvas, Miocic scrambles back to his feet but Ngannou sends him right back to the mat with another massive left hand and with one shot of ground and pound, referee Herb Dean waves it off. We have a new UFC heavyweight champion. What a performance from Francis Ngannou. And new.

Tyron Woodley (No. 7) vs. Vicente Luque (No. 10)
Round One: The co-main event of the evening is officially underway. Woodley immediate latches onto Luque and gets him against the fence. Luque powers away from the cage and circles back to the center of the octagon. Woodley just misses a massive overhand right but stings Luque with a straight left. Woodley clinches Luque up and pushes him against the fence. Luque reverses position and lands a few shots to the body of Woodley, who’s now against the fence. Woodley pushes Luque off and gets back to the center of the octagon. Woodley drills Luque with an overhand right but Luque blasts him with an overhand right. Woodley is barely standing and Luque continues the barrage but Woodley now lands a massive straight right that stings Luque. Woodley shoots for a takedown but Luque stuffs the attempt and locks-in a d’arce choke that forces Woodley to tap. What a fight. What a win for Vicente Luque.

Sean O’Malley vs. Thomas Almeida
Round One: This matchup of fan-favorites is officially underway. O’Malley opens with a bevy of lead leg kicks that all seemingly find a home. Almeida returns the favor and lands a lead leg kick of his own. Almeida lands a left hook and O’Malley counters with a hook of his own. O’Malley narrowly missed a spinning-back kick to the body and Almeida lands a step-in elbow in response. Almeida teases a level change and O’Malley drills him with a head kick and follows it up with an overhand left that sends him to the canvas but Almeida gets back to his feet. O’Malley keeps the pressure on and lands a right hook but Almeida is able to circle back to the center of the octagon. Almeida rushes in for a takedown and O’Malley just misses a spinning-back kick but is able to avoid the takedown. O’Malley lands another head kick but Almeida somehow eats it and continues pushing forward. Almeida lands a right hook that pushes O’Malley to the fence and the buzzer sounds which will somehow send this one to the second round.
Round Two: The second round opens with a kick to Almeida’s lead leg that lands. Almeida returns fire and trips up O’Malley with a heavy lead leg kick of his own. O’Malley lands a side kick to Almeida’s lead leg which causes the Brazilian to stumble for a moment. O’Malley goes for a flying knee, just misses and trips up and Almeida drills him with a heavy right hook but O’Malley is able to avoid anymore damage as the buzzer sounds and this one is headed to a third and final round.
Round Three: The third and final round is underway and O’Malley continues to work the lead leg of Almeida and lands a pair of kicks to the aforementioned leg. Almeida just misses an overhand left and eats a straight right from O’Malley that lands. O’Malley lands a front kick to the body and follows it up with a left hook that sends Almeida to the mat and O’Malley comes flying in with a massive right hand that puts Almeida out cold. What a performance from Sean O’Malley.

Gillian Robertson (No. 15) vs. Miranda Maverick
Round One: This one is officially underway and Maverick opens the action with a right hook and follows it up with a kick to Robertson’s lead leg. Maverick lands another right hook and just misses a head kick that follows. Maverick throws a straight left that finds a home. Maverick latches onto Robertson and gets the fight to the mat. Robertson powers back to her feet but eats a left hook for her troubles. Maverick trips up Robertson but the buzzer sounds as the pair get back to their feet and this one is heading to the second round.
Round Two: The second round opens and Robertson blocks a head kick attempt from Maverick. Robertson catches Maverick after a superman punch attempt and gets Maverick to the mat. Maverick teases a guillotine and Robertson locks-in a head-and-arm choke to force Maverick to let go of her neck. Maverick tries to scramble to her feet but Robertson takes her back, attempts a rear-naked choke but Maverick momentarily rolls out of danger. Maverick powers to her feet but Robertson drags her back down to the mat and ends up with back control. Maverick continues to attempt and roll back to her feet but Robertson refuses to give up control. Maverick is finally able to scramble back to her feet and immediately lands a straight left. Maverick goes for a level change but the buzzer sounds and the second rounds comes to a close.
Round Three: The final frame gets underway and Maverick partially lands a head kick and follows it up with a jab that finds it’s a mark. Robertson shoots for a single-leg takedown but Maverick stymies the attempt. Robertson goes right for another takedown and Maverick stuffs that attempt as well but ends up taking back control. Maverick teases a rear-naked choke and uses the distraction to roll into top control. Robertson rolls and now Maverick is reigning down shots to the side of Robertson’s head while in back control. Maverick ends up on mount and continues the barrage of ground and pound. Robertson sneaks in an arm-bar attempt but Maverick is able to roll out of danger and end up back on top control. Robertson does a great job of rolling out and ending up on Maverick’s back. Maverick returns the favor and rolls into top control. Both woman get back to their feet and Maverick rushes right into another takedown attempt and is successful in-doing so. Maverick rides out the rest of the round in top control, the buzzer sounds and this one is heading to the judges’ scorecards.

Jamie Mullarkey vs. Khama Worthy
Round One: The main card is officially underway with this pair of lightweights hoping to break into the top-15 rankings with a win. Mullarkey opens with a 1-2 that narrowly misses, Worthy misses a left hook and Mullarkey absolutely drills him with a left hook that sends Worthy to the canvas and after a few extra shots, referee Chris Tognoni waves it off. What a statement from Jamie Mullarkey.
