UFC 259 Prelims Fighters Make Bank With $50,000 Bonuses
Four fighters on the UFC 259 prelims are leaving with an extra $50,000 in their pockets.
UFC 259 offered a stacked main card; however, it was the undercard that delivered on action. Uros Medic and Kai Kara-France were awarded Performance of the Night bonuses for their respective finishes. The Fight of the Night honors went to the two-round slugfest between Kennedy Nzechukwu and Carlos Ulberg.
Kara-France survived a tough four-and-a-half minutes of back-takes and grappling dominance from Rogerio Bontorin, roaring back to life with a knockout at 4:55 of round one.
A chipper Uros Medic absolutely dominated Aalon Cruz, earning a TKO at just 1:30 of the first round.

Carlos Ulberg was a meaningful favorite to beat Kennedy Nzechukwu. That looked to be the case after an early head kick rocked Nzechukwu; however, he absorbed an ungodly amount of shots and ultimately shut Ulberg’s lights off.
