#11 Johnny Walker has been the talk of the light heavyweight town over the last year, but had to face his biggest test ever in #7 Corey Anderson. That test wasn’t passed in any way, as Anderson dominated Walker and finished him easily in the first round.
In a fight likely to earn her a championship fight at Flyweight, #1 Katlyn Chookagian employed technical superiority against the #5 Jennifer Maia en route to a unanimous decision win. To rub salt on the wound, Katlyn also takes home portion of Maia’s show money, as Maia failed to make weight yet again.
#12 Shane Burgos was in action against the once-highly touted prospect Makwan Amirkhani, who had no indication prior that he should have fallen off from that perch. Burgos put away Amirkhani in under two rounds.

#11 Brad Tavares has quickly snuck into the top-15, and looked to continue to prove he belongs there in facing #13 Edmen Shahbazyan. After a long layoff, he was unable to do that, and Shahbazyan brought it to him early and often. Shahbazyan stayed undefeated after an insane head kick knockout in the first round.
