Cris Cyborg Defeats Felicia Spencer In Last Fight Of Her UFC Deal | UFC 240 Full Fight Highlights

Cris Cyborg’s UFC career could very well be over after the final fight on her contract at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

The 34-year old Cyborg was the standard bearer at Featherweight for a decade until her loss to Amanda Nunes last year. For the first time since 2005, she was looking to rebound from a loss, and hoped to do it against an emerging name in a flimsy 145 pound division in Felicia Spencer.

Spencer withstood three rounds of violence from Cyborg, but couldn’t get the job done. Cyborg fought exceptionally, adjusting from round to round, landing heavy strikes and combos.

There was a cut to Cyborg’s forehead that caused some concern early, but wasn’t enough to slow down the legendary fighter. In the end, Cris earned the 30-27 unanimous decision victory. The grit of the younger Spencer was a major talking point throughout and following the bout.

Cyborg said that she’s going to let the UFC talk to her managers, but stated that she wanted a rematch against Amanda Nunes, who knocked her off her featherweight throne.
