UFC 235’s Hannah Cifers talks Polyana Viana, New Conditioning Program & Ice Skating

Hannah Cifers steps back into the Octagon at UFC 235, with her opponent on that night being Polyana Viana.

These two fighters will collide at one of the biggest UFC events of 2019, but Cifers is interested in the other fights on the card almost as much as the competitor is in her own bout.

“It’s a huge card, I’m actually looking forward to seeing a lot of the fights on the card too,” says Cifers in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.

Cifers is going to be looking for her first UFC win at the event, having previously dropped a bout to Maycee Barber at UFC Fight Night Denver.

The fighter has had to make some changes to her life outside of the Octagon to adjust to the lifestyle of being a UFC fighter.

“I’m still really excited that I actually competed in the UFC, I look forward to fighting a lot more for them. I focused a lot more on training, instead of having some many jobs (on the family farm),” says Cifers.

UFC 235 takes place on Saturday, March 2 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Anthony Smith headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
