UFC 230 Preliminary Card Ratings Are In
This past weekend, MMA fans were treated to the UFC’s third effort at Madison Square Garden as the promotion presented UFC 230.
There was a four fight preliminary card that aired live on Fox Sports 1 and a report from MMA Fighting says that the showed averaged 635,000 viewers. The four fight preliminary card also streamed live on Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, bringing in an additional 12,017 viewers.
It was the featured preliminary card fight between Jordan Rinaldi and Jason Knight that brought in the most viewers, with 808,000 people checking that encounter out.
Other fights on the preliminary card saw Sijara Eubanks defeat Roxanne Modafferi, Sheymon Moraes defeat Julio Arce and Lyman Good beat Ben Saunders.
A pre-fight show aired on Fox Sports 1 and that brought in 205,000 viewers, while a post-fight show that also aired on Fox Sports 1 brought in 188,000 viewers.
NCAA Football brought the competition this week as several big games airs opposite of the UFC 230 preliminary card on ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox and ESPN 2.
Up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night Denver, with a six fight main card and a four bout preliminary card airing live on Fox Sports 1, with Chan Sung Jung and Yair Rodriguez in the main event spot.
