UFC 214 Preliminary Card Ratings Are In
The UFC debuted on FXX this past weekend with the UFC 214 Preliminary Card and the ratings are in for the four fight preliminary card.
Despite a new network to air on, the four fight preliminary card drew a total average of 886,000 viewers.
In that four fight preliminary card, it was Ricardo Lamas defeating Jason Knight, Aljamain Sterling defeating former UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao, Brian Ortega defeating Renato Moicano and Calvin Kattar defeating Andre Fili.
It was the Aljamain Sterling versus Renan Barao fight that drew the most viewers, as a total of 1,072,000 people checked out the encounter.
A pre-fight show also aired on FXX and that drew 307,000 viewers, while the post-fight show that aired on Fox Sports 1 drew 267,000 viewers.
The weigh-ins, which aired the day before on Fox Sports 1, drew a total of 245,000 and the replay for those same weigh-in drew a total of 142,000 viewers.
UFC Fight Night 105 is going to be the next event for the promotion, with a six fight main card and a four fight preliminary card airing on Fox Sports 1. That event is going to be headlined by a flyweight division fight as Sergio Pettis takes on Brandon Moreno.
