Two More Bouts Added To UFC On Fox 29, Including Tim Boetsch
A pair of bouts have been added to the UFC On Fox 29 card as Antonio Carlos Jr faces Tim Boetsch and Shana Dobson faces Lauren Mueller.
Carlos Jr (9-2-0-1NC) enters the bout on the strength of a four fight winning streak, last defeating Jack Marshman by submission at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Carlos Jr hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years and that last loss came to Daniel Kelly at UFC Fight Night 85.
Boetsch (21-11-0) has won three of his last four in the UFC and the fighter is coming off of a win over former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City. Boetsch hasn’t had a fight go the distance in over four years and he has a record of 4-5-0 in that time.
Dobson (3-1-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Ariel Beck by second round TKO at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. Dobson also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, losing to Roxanne Modaferri in the opening round of the reality show.
Mueller (4-0-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Mueller competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8, defeating Kelly McGill-Velasco by unanimous decision.
UFC On Fox 29 takes place on Saturday, April 14 from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona with Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
