TUF 24 Cast Announced: UFC Veterans, Winner Gets A UFC Title Shot
The UFC have released the cast for their upcoming Ultimate Fighter Series, and this one has major implications.
The Ultimate Fighter Season 24 will see former Flyweight title challengers Henry Cejudo and Joseph Benavidez coaching sixteen men who will compete for an opportunity at a title shot against current champion, Demetirious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson. Among the familar names are Tim Elliott and Damacio Page.
Tim Elliott is a UFC veteran who went 2-4 in his two year run, including a loss to Benavidez. Elliott faced a murderer’s row of opponents, including title challengers John Dodson and Ali Bagautinov, and former Bellator Champion Zach Makovski. Elliott has went 3-0 since being cut from the UFC.
Damacio Page is another UFC veteran, going 0-3 in the company. Since his 2012 release, Page went 4-2 in regional companies.
