Trio Of Bouts Added To UFC Fight Night Norfolk

Three more fights have been added to UFC Fight Night Norfolk as Nate Marquardt faces Cezar Ferreira, Karl Roberson faces Darren Stewart and Jake Collier faces Marcel Fortuna.

Marquardt (35-18-2) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Tamdan McCrory at UFC Fight Night 96. Marquardt is also a former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion, defeating Tyron Woodley to win that belt in 2012.

Ferreira (11-6-0) has won three of his last four in the UFC, most notably defeating Jack Hermansson at UFC Fight Night 100. Ferreira was also the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil, defeating Sergio Moraes in the finals of the reality show.

Roberson (5-0-0) competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, defeating Ryan Spann on episode three. Roberson also competed in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion, defeating Michael Wilcox and Derrick Brown.

Stewart (7-1-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, fighting Francimar Barroso to a draw and then a decision loss at UFC Fight Night 107. Stewart also competed in the Cage Warriors promotion, winning all four fights he competed at in the promotion.

Collier (10-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last bout being a loss to Devin Clark at UFC On Fox 24. Collier also competed in Rumble Times Promotions, where he defeated World Series Of Fighting veteran Cully Butterfield.

Fortuna (9-2-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, defeating Anthony Hamilton and suffering a defeat to Jordan Johnson. Fortuna also won four of five fights in the Dragon House promotion, with that lone defeat coming to UFC veteran Jesse Taylor.

UFC Fight Night Norfolk takes place on Saturday, November 11 from the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia with Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis headlining. Fightful is providjng live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
