Tito Ortiz Participating In UFC International Fight Week
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz hasn’t always been on the best of terms with the UFC and UFC President Dana White.
However, that will not stop the former light heavyweight champion from participating in festivities during UFC International Fight Week.
Ortiz is going to be taking part in an autograph session alongside a plethora of other UFC fighters and MMA personalities. Other activities that Ortiz may be participating in haven’t been announced at this time.
The former light heavyweight champion retired earlier this year after submission fellow UFC veteran Chael Sonnen in the main event of Bellator 170. Ortiz left the UFC after suffering a decision loss to the now retired Forrest Griffin at UFC 148 in July of 2012.
Following his departure from the promotion, the retired Ortiz and Dana White did make up and no longer have any public issues with each other.
Other than the appearance(s) at UFC International Fight Week, the former champion has no other events scheduled with the UFC at this time.
UFC International Fight Week kicks off on begins on Wednesday, July 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada and it ends on Saturday, July 8 with the UFC 213 after party. Fightful is providing coverage of the live MMA events during fight week, along with some of the other activities as well.
