Title Fight Rescheduled For One Championships: Kings & Conquerors

A One Championships Flyweight Title Unification Fight between Kairat Akhmetov and Adriano Moraes has been rescheduled for One Championships: Kings & Conquerors.

The bout was originally set to headline this months One Championships: Conquest Of Kings event, but the event was canceled due to logistical issues.

Akhmetov (20-0-0) is going to be making the first defense of his championship, as he defeated Adriano Moraes in their first encounter at One Championships 34 to win the gold. Akhmetov is also competing for the first time in just about two years, as One Championships 34 took place in November of 2015. Akhmetov also enters the fight with an undefeated record as a pro, which has lasted just over seven years now.

Moraes (15-2-0) won the interim championship at One Championships 45 when he defeated Tilek Batyrov by second round submission. Moraes is also a former One Championships Flyweight Champion, as he defeated Riku Shibuya at One Championships 25 to win the belt. Moraes is also competing for the first time in nearly a year, as he last bout took place at One Championships 45 in August of last year.

One Championships: Kings & Conquerors takes place on Saturday, August 5 from the Cotai Arena in Macau, China with Bibiano Fernandes and Andrew Leone headlining.
