Three More Fights Added To UFC Fight Night 105, Including Top 10 Fight
A trio of fights have been added to next month’s UFC Fight Night 105 card as #7 Sara McMann faces #8 Liz Carmouche, Ryan Janes faces Gerald Meerschaert and Sam Sicilia faces Gavin Tucker.
McMann (10-3-0) will be entering the fight riding a two fight winning streak, defeating Jessica Eye and Alexis Davis. McMann has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 170.
Carmouche (11-5-0) will also be entering the fight riding a two fight winning streak, with her victories coming over Lauren Murphy and Katlyn Chookagian. Carmouche has also challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, also losing to Rousey.
Janes (9-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Keith Berish at UFC Fight Night 102. Janes is also a former Battlefield Fight League Middleweight Champion. He relinquished the belt upon signing with the UFC last year.
Meerschaert (25-8-0) is also undefeated at this point in his UFC run, having defeated Joseph Gigliotti at UFC Fight Night 102. Meerschaert will enter the fight riding a six fight winning streak, one that has lasted well over two years.
Sicilia (15-7-0) will be entering the fight on a two fight losing streak, having dropped fights to both Gabriel Benitez and Doo Ho Choi. Sicilia will be competing on his sixth straight fight night card, it has been over two years since he competed on a UFC pay-per-view card.
Tucker (9-0-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so with an undefeated streak that has last over five years. Tucker has only seen one of his nine professional MMA fights go the distance, which was his professional MMA debut in 2011.
UFC Fight Night 105 takes place on Sunday, February 19 from the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with Derrick Lewis and Travis Browne headlining.
