Three More Contests Added To UFC Fight Night Shanghai
A trio of bouts have been added to the UFC Fight Night Shanghai card as Bobby Nash faces Kenan Song, Bharat Khandare faces Pingyuan Liu and Wuliji Buren faces Rolando Dy.
Nash (8-3-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping fights to both Jingliang Li and Danny Roberts. Nash hasn’t seen a fight go the distance in over two years and six of his last seven fights ended by KO/TKO.
Song (11-3-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and the fighter hasn’t earned a victory in well over a year. Song has challenged for the Chinese King Fu Championships Welterweight Title, losing to Yincang Bao in March of 2015.
Khandare (5-2-0) will also be making his UFC debut in this fight and the competitor has only competed once in the last four years. Khandare has yet to see any of his professional MMA fights go the distance and only two of those fights went into the second round.
Liu (10-5-0) is also making his UFC debut in this fight and Liu is going to be doing so on the strength of a six fight winning streak. Liu started off his professional MMA career with a four fight losing streak and he has won ten of eleven since ending that streak.
Buren (10-4-0) is another fighter who’ll be making their UFC debut on this card and he does so on a three fight winning streak. Buren competed a total of five times in 2016 and he did earn a record of 2-3-0 in those five encounters.
Dy (8-6-1-1NC) is currently winless thus far in UFC competition, dropping fights to the duo of Alex Caceres and Teruto Ishihara. Dy is a longtime veteran of the Pacific Xtreme Combat promotion, winning seven of ten fights in the company.
UFC Fight Night Shanghai takes place on Saturday, November 25 from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China with Michael Bisping and Kelvin Gastelum headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
