Things have turned around for Sexy Star.
It was reported in mid-February that former 3-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Sexy Star was set to make her MMA debut this month for the Combate Americas promotion in her hometown on Monterrey, Mexico. Sexy Star made her debut last night and defeated her opponent Mariana Ruiz via unanimous decision.

Sexy Star’s name is associated with the incident from TripleMania XXV where she purposely popped Rosemary’s arm out of its joint and the likes of Chris Jericho, Brian “Road Dogg” James and Cody expressed that Sexy Star would not be allowed to compete where they respectively wrestled and/or worked.
Sexy Star did continue her career in Boxing following the TripleMania incident and is still active in the wrestling ring. Sexy Star will have more fights for Combate Americas as she has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion.
