O’Malley was set to return to the Octagon for the first time since defeating Andre Soukhamthath by decision at UFC 222.

A decision was recently been made by the UFC to not announce USADA violations until the full case has been resolved, but O’Malley took it upon himself to reveal the news. There has been no comment from the UFC yet on O’Malley’s potential violation or if Quinonez will remain on the card against a short notice opponent.

UFC 229 takes place on Saturday, October 6 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
