Scott Coker Reveals Price Of 2nd Bellator PPV

In just a few short months, the Viacom owned Bellator MMA will be holding its second ever event on pay-per-view.

Bellator MMA President Scott Coker recently appeared on The MMA Hour and he announced the price of the upcoming Bellator 180 pay-per-view.

“The pay-per-view, just so you know, is $49.95,” Coker announced. “Some providers, I think they have the ability to choose and pick (prices) and whatever, but suggested retail price is $49.95.”

This will be the promotion's second foray into pay-per-view, their first pay-per-view card was Bellator 120. The main event of that show saw Quinton “Rampage” Jackson defeat King Mo by decision, the two are set to rematch at Bellator 175.

Bellator 120 cost $39.99, which means that the promotions second attempt at pay-per-view will be seeing a $10 increase.

Main Event: Wanderlei Silva vs. Chael Sonnen

Co-Main Event: Fedor Emelianenko vs. Matt Mitrione

Bellator MMA Lightweight Title Fight: Michael Chandler (Champion) vs. Brent Primus

Bellator MMA Welterweight Title Fight: Douglas Lima (Champion) vs. Lorenz Larkin

Also, there have been two fights announced for the non-PPV portion of the card as James Gallagher faces Chinzo Machida and Aaron Pico makes his professional MMA debut against an opponent to be announced.

Bellator 180 takes place on Saturday, June 24 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
