Sara McMann Faces Lina Lansberg At UFC Fight Night Raleigh

A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Raleigh as #9 Sara McMann is in action against #11 Lina Lansberg.

The UFC Europe Twitter page announced the news, but its position on the card isn’t known at this time.

McMann (11-5-0) is going to be competing for the first time in almost two years after giving birth to her second child. McMann enters the bout while in the midst of a two fight losing streak and she hasn’t picked up a win in nearly three years. McMann has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 170.

Lansberg (10-4-0) enters the contest on a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Tonya Evinger and Macy Chiasson. Lansberg has seen her last four fights go the distance and the fighter has not gotten a win via finish in the UFC. Lansberg has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night Raleigh takes place on Saturday, January 25 from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina with Curtis Blaydes and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
