Ryan Bader Knocks Out Fedor In The First Round To Win Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix
Ryan Bader added a big name to his resume, knocking out Fedor Emelianenko in the first round of their fight at Bellator 214. With the victory, Bader won the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix and captured the Bellator Heavyweight Title.
The fight lasted just 35 seconds with Bader catching Fedor with a lead left hook, knocking the Last Emperor down to the canvas. Bader followed up with a right hand and a couple of hammerfists, forcing the referee to jump in and stop the fight.

The round begins with Bader peppering Emelianenko with a few jabs, Bader drops Emelianenko with a lead left hook and he pounces on him with a few more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Bader ran through the competition in the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. He needed just 15 seconds to dispatch of King Mo in the first round of the GP, easily out-wrestled Matt Mitrione en route to a unanimous decision win in the semifinal and then finished Fedor in less than a minute in the finals.
