Rumors Are Flying: McGregor MSG Fight, Funk Retirement, TNA Sale, Adam Cole, More

The following are rumors and should be treated as such. Fightful can't verify the authenticity of the claims, outside of what we've debunked.

– While he didn't announce it, Joe Rogan certainly insinuated Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez for the Lightweight title could happen at UFC 205 on the Joe Rogan Experience Fight Companion.

– Adam Cole's ROH contract was originally set to expire in December, but has been extended until April 2017 because of time he's missed due to injury.

– The new Cruiserweight title will not continue any of the lineage of the old title.

– Akira Tozawa won't be joining the Raw cruiserweight division as of yet.

– Terry Funk announced his latest retirement at House of Hardcore this weekend. As with all Funk retirements, this is a rumor until his last breath.

– Fightful.com has been told the $40 million price tag thrown around for TNA is absolutely incorrect.
