Ronda Rousey Not Listed On Media Schedule Ahead Of UFC 207

After a year away, one would think the usually outspoken Ronda Rousey would have plenty to say. If she does, the MMA media won't be hearing it.

The UFC released their schedule of events for UFC 207 week, and Ronda Rousey and Amanda Nunes were both absent from the roster for December 28's Ultimate Media Day. There are also no pre-fight press conferences or open workouts for UFC 207.

Since her UFC 193 loss to Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey has largely stayed out of the public eye. She's had several movie projects put on hold, participated in few interviews, and outside of a brief AIW cameo in September, hasn't participated in pro wrestling appearances, despite the heavy interest.

Rousey typically holds a media day at GFC in Glendale, California, which wasn't the case for UFC 207. She spoke to ESPN recently, stating that she agreed to the fight with Nunes under the condition that her media obligations would be limited. Rousey had a notoriously tough schedule ahead of previous fights. UFC President Dana White has noted that Rousey's main issue wasn't losing her championship, but dealing with the media.

UFC 207 takes place Friday, December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
