Report: Wilson Reis Faces Alexandre Pantoja At UFC 236
A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 236 according to Combate as #5 Wilson Reis is going to be in action against #6 Alexandre Pantoja.
Reis (23-9-0) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Ben Nguyen at UFC Fight Night Adelaide. Reis has previously challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing to then champion Demetrious Johnson at UFC On Fox 24. Reis has picked up a total of twenty three wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of KO/TKO.
Pantoja (20-3-0) will enter the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having beaten the duo of Brandon Moreno and Yuta Sasaki. Pantoja has suffered just a single defeat under the UFC banner, with that loss coming to Dustin Ortiz at UFC 220. Pantoja also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Hiromasa Ogikubo.
