Report: Vinc Pichel Faces Alexander Yakovlev At UFC Fight Night Moscow
A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Moscow according to Sport Box as Vinc Pichel is going to be in action against Alexander Yakovlev.
Pichel (12-2-0) has won five of his last six under the UFC banner, with the last win coming over Roosevelt Roberts at UFC Fight Night Minneapolis. Pichel has suffered just two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with both coming in UFC competition to Gregor Gillespie and Rustam Khabilov. Pichel also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Al Iaquinta.
Yakovlev (24-8-1) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Alex Da Silva Coelho at UFC Fight Night St. Petersburg. Yakovlev has previously challenged for the M-1 Challenge Lightweight Title, losing to then champion Rashid Magomedov at M-1 Challenge 35 in November of 2012. Yakovlev has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of KO/TKO.
