Report: Two More Bouts Set For UFC Fight Night Utica, Walt Harris Added To Card

Two more bouts have reportedly been added to the UFC Fight Night Utica card according to the Utica Observer-Dispatch as Walt Harris faces Daniel Spitz and Hector Sandoval faces Jarred Brooks.

Harris (10-7-0) enters the bout riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum and Mark Godbeer. Harris has won three of seven in his second UFC run, but hasn’t earned a victory since June of 2017.

Spitz (6-1-0) is looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC win, which came over Anthony Hamilton at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh. Spitz also competed in the Conquest Of the Cage promotion, earning two wins there via first round submission.

Sandoval (14-4-0) has won two of four fights under the UFC banner, with those two wins coming over Fredy Serrano and Matt Schnell. Sandoval is also a former Tachi Palace Fights Flyweight Champion, defeating Ryan Hollis at TPF 20 to win the gold.

Brooks (13-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Brooks has since both of his UFC bouts go the distance and it has been over a year since the fighter got a finish.

UFC Fight Night Utica takes place on Friday, June 1 from the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
