Report: Two Fights Added To Bellator 231, Mandel Nallo In Action

A pair of bouts have been added to Bellator 231 according to MMA Junkie as Mandel Nallo faces Killys Mota and Jon Manley faces Thiago Oliveira.

Nallo (7-0-0) has already picked up two wins under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating the duo of Alec Williams and Carrington Banks. Nallo is back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last fight took place in October of 2018. 

Mota (11-1-0) is going to be making his Bellator debut in this bout and does so after a loss to UFC veteran Austin Hubbard at LFA 56. Mota has competed twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.

Manley (10-5-0) is undefeated thus far in Bellator MMA competition, having defeated Thiago Rela by second round submission at Bellator 225. Manley also competed once before in the UFC, dropping a bout to Neil Magny via unanimous decision at UFC 157. 

Oliveira (16-4-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Oliveira has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and two of them have come by way of submission.

Bellator 231 takes place on Friday, October 25 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Frank Mir and Roy Nelson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
