Report: TJ Laramie Faces Daniel Swain On Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 28

A featherweight division attraction has been added to Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 28 as TJ Laramie faces Daniel Swain.

It was Laramie who announced the bout through Twitter, but the fight’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Laramie (11-3-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of James Dunn, Paris Stanford and Andrew Cruz. Laramie hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Alex Morgan at TKO MMA Fight Night 1. Laramie is also a former TKO MMA Featherweight Champion and the current Prospect Fighting Championship Featherweight Champion.

Swain (20-9-1) comes into the bout riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Maxim Pashkov and Xiaolong Wu. Swain has suffered nine losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one of them coming to UFC veteran Julian Erosa. Swain has picked up twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of them came by way of submission.

Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 28 takes place on Tuesday, August 11 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
