Report: Timothy Johnson Faces Luis Henrique At UFC Fight Night Belem

A heavyweight division affair may be on its way to the UFC Fight Night Belem card as #15 Timothy Johnson is in action against Luis Henrique.

Farrah Hannoun first reported the potential bout.

Johnson (11-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his latest bout being a loss to Junior Albini at UFC On Fox 25. Johnson has seen four of his six bouts in the UFC go the distance and the fighter has a record of 2-2-0 in those fights. Johnson has competed in the Dakota Fighting Championships, where he holds a win over UFC veteran Travis Wiuff.

Henrique (10-4-0-1NC) enters the fight on a two bout losing streak, with those losses coming to Marcin Tybura and Arjan Bhullar. Henrique has only seen just one of his five UFC bouts go the distance and it came against Arjan Bhullar at UFC 215. Henrique hasn’t earned a win in over a year, as his victory over Christian Colombo came at UFC Fight Night 100 in November 2016.

UFC Fight Night Belem takes place on Saturday, February 3 from the Manguerinho Gymnasium in Belem, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
