Report: Three Fights Added To Bellator London, Mike Shipman In Action

A three pack of fights have been added to Bellator London according to MMA Junkie as Mike Shipman faces Costello Van Steenis, John Redmond faces George Tokkos and Nathan Greyson faces Frans Mlambo.

Shipman (13-1-0) is undefeated under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating the four pack of Dom Clark, Marcin Prostko, Carl Noon and Scott Futrell. Shipman has competed fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his fights went the distance.

Van Steenis (11-1-0) is also undefeated in Bellator MMA competition, defeating the trio of Steve Skrzat, Kevin Fryer and Chris Honeycutt. Van Steenis enters the contest while in the midst of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in three years.

Redmond (7-13-0) is winless under the Bellator MMA banner, dropping a bout to Charlie Ward at Bellator 187. Redmond is also back in action for the first time in over a year, with his last bout taking place in November of 2017.

Tokkos (3-0-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost two years. Tokkos is also returning to action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place in February of 2018.

Greyson (6-3-0) is winless thus far in Bellator MMA competition, dropping a fight to Callum Eleanor at Bellator MMA Europe 1. Greyson is a former Cage Warriors Flyweight Champion, defeating Sam Creasey to win the gold at Cage Warriors 92.

Mlambo (6-4-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so having won just one of his last three bouts. Mlambo has previously challenged for the Brave CF Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Stephen Loman at Brave CF 13.

Bellator London takes place on Saturday, June 22 from the SSE Arena in London, England with Gegard Mousasi and Rafael Lovato Jr. headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
