Report: Three Bouts Added To UFC Fight Night Belem, John Dodson Competing

A trio of bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night Belem as #8 John Dodson faces #11 Pedro Munhoz, Sergio Moraes faces Tim Means and Marlon Vera faces Douglas Silva De Andrade.

Combate reported on Dodson/Munhoz and Moraes/Means, while Farah Hannoun first reported Vera/De Andrade.

Dodson (19-9-0) has won two of four since returning to the bantamweight division, with those two wins coming over Eddie Wineland and Manny Gamburyan. Dodson has twice before challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing both times to Demetrious Johnson at UFC On Fox 6 and UFC 191.

Munhoz (15-2-0-1NC) enters the fight on the strength of a four bout winning streak, last defeating Rob Font at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Munhoz is a former Resurrection Fighting Alliance Bantamweight Champion, defeating Jeff Curran to win the belt at RFA 9.

Means (27-9-1-1NC) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Alex Garcia at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City. Means has only seen one of his UFC bouts go the distance in the last two-plus years, which came against Belal Muhammad at UFC Fight Night Sydney.

Moraes (12-3-1) is looking to rebound from his first loss in over five years, which came to Kamaru Usman at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh. Moraes competes in Brazil for the first time in nearly a year, as UFC Fight Night 106 was his last appearance in the country.

Vera (10-4-1) has won three of his last four in the UFC, but is coming off of a loss to John Lineker at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Vera also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter Latin America 1, defeating Enrique Barzola in the quarterfinals.

De Andrade (24-2-0-1NC) is coming off of a loss to Rob Font at UFC 213, which was the first submission loss of his professional MMA career. De Andrade has lost two of four fights in the UFC, but never lost a fight prior to signing with the promotion in 2014.

UFC Fight Night Belem takes place on Saturday, February 3 from the Manguerinho Gymnasium in Belem, Brazil with Lyoto Machida and Eryk Anders headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
