Report: Sergio Pettis Faces Rob Font At UFC Fight Night Milwaukee
A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC On Fox 31 according to Farah Hannoun as #11 Rob Font faces #3 (Flyweight) Sergio Pettis.
Font (15-4-0) has won three of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the trio of Matt Schnell, Douglas Silva De Andrade and Thomas Almeida. Font is also going to be competing on his first UFC On Fox card, despite having been with the promotion for over four years. Font has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be defeated by way of KO/TKO.
Pettis (17-4-0) is returning to the bantamweight division for the first time in almost four years, having recently been competing at flyweight. Pettis won five of eight while competing in the UFC Flyweight Division, with those wins coming over Chris Cariaso, Chris Kelades, John Moraga, Brandon Moreno and Joseph Benavidez. Pettis has seen his last seven professional MMA bouts go the distance and it has been over three years since the fighter got a finish.
UFC On Fox 31 takes place on Saturday, December 15 from the Wisconsin Sports & Entertainment Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Kevin Lee and Al Iaquinta headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
