Report: Sean O’Malley vs. Louis Smolka Planned For UFC 264: Poirier vs McGregor 3
Sean O’Malley is back to business on the undercard of Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 3.
O’Malley (13-1) is expected to meet fellow bantamweight Louis Smolka (17-7) at UFC 264 on July 10. The planned match-up was first reported by journalist Ryan Frederick and subsequently confirmed by MMA Fighting.
“Suga” Sean bounced back from his first career loss to Marlon Vera in August by knocking out Thomas Almeida in the third round of their fight at UFC 260. Smolka returning to his winning ways by TKOing José Alberto Quiñónez in December, recovering from a submission loss to Casey Kenney last May.
