Report: Sarah Moras Fighting Lucie Pudilova At UFC Fight Night Austin
A women’s bantamweight division encounter could be coming to UFC Fight Night Austin as #14 (tied) Sarah Moras may be facing Lucie Pudilova.
Farah Hannoun first reported the contest.
Moras (5-2-0) has won two of three in UFC competition, last defeating Ashlee Evans-Smith by first round submission at UFC 215. Moras has only competed one time in the last two-plus years and that was the aforementioned victory at UFC 215. Moras also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18, losing to Juliana Pena in the semi-finals of the reality show.
Pudilova (7-2-0) is looking to build on the momentum of her first UFC win, which came over Ji Yeon Kim by decision at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Pudilova is a former Gladiator Championship Fighting Women’s Bantamweight Champion, defeating Melinda Fabian to win the gold in 2016. Pudilova has only suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both came to fellow UFC fighting Lina Lansberg.
UFC Fight Night Austin takes place on Sunday, February 18 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas with Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
