Report: Sarah Alpar Faces Duda Santana At UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City
A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City as Sarah Alpar faces Duda Santana.
Mike Heck of BJPenn.com first reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Alpar (9-4-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Alpar competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 8, defeating Shanna Young by second round submission. Alpar held three regional championships before coming to the UFC, as she is a former King Of The Cage, Legacy Fighting Alliance and Xtreme Fight Night Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
Santana (3-1-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Bae Malecki at UFC Fight Night Stockholm. Santana had previously competed in the Watch Out Combat Show, going three for three in the promotion. Santana has competed four times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Oklahoma takes place on Saturday, May 2 from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
