Report: Renato Moicano Faces Damir Hadzovic At UFC Fight Night Brasilia
A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brasilia as #7 (FW) Renato Moicano is in action against Damir Hadzovic.
Combate first reported the fight, but its placement on the card isn’t known at the moment.
Moicano (13-3-1) enters the contest while riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Jose Aldo and Chan Sung Jung. Moicano is making his UFC Lightweight Division debut in this encounter, having previously competed at featherweight. Moicano has seen seven of his seventeen professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won all of those encounters.
Hadzovic (13-5-0) has won three of six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Marcin Held, Nick Hein and Marco Polo Reyes. Hadzovic hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, with that last win coming in February of 2019. Hadzovic has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil with Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
