Report: Randa Markos Faces Livinha Souza At UFC Vegas 14

Livinha Souza has been pulled from UFC Vegas 14 for undisclosed reasons, replacing her against Kanako Murata is Randa Markos.

Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the news.

Murata (11-1-0) will make her UFC debut and does so on the strength of a seven-fight winning streak. Murata is also a former Invicta FC strawweight champion, defeating Emily Ducote at Invicta FC 38 to win the gold. Murata has gone the distance in five professional fights.

Markos (10-9-1) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Amanda Ribas and Mackenzie Dern. Markos hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last win coming over Ashley Yoder at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Markos has competed 20 times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts ended by KO/TKO.

UFC Vegas 14 takes place on Saturday, November 14 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Islam Makhachev and Rafael Dos Anjos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
